About Treetop Early Learning
Treetop Early Learning is a proudly family-owned provider, with three state of the art centres across Melbourne, providing a high-quality learning environment and kindergarten program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.
With over 25 years of experience in the childcare industry, our vision for Treetop Early Learning is to create a nurturing home away from home that embraces diversity and inclusivity. We aim to foster strong relationships among children, families, and their peers, while also connecting with the wider community.
As family-run centres, we deeply value the significance of family bonds. We consider ourselves an extension of your family, working collaboratively to offer the best care and education for your child. Kindness lies at the core of our interactions, promoting empathy and understanding throughout our community.
We highly value open and transparent communication with both parents and educators. To foster this, we’ve established a dedicated community piazza. This inviting space allows parents and educators to gather in the mornings and after child care, providing an opportunity to connect, exchange insights and engage in meaningful conversations.
Our centre's draw inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach, emphasizing intentional teaching that encourages children to become active learners and enthusiastic participants in their explorations, showcasing their innate curiosity and limitless potential.
Treetop Early Learning proudly acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land and pays our utmost respect to their Elders, both past and present.
Communication
At Treetop Early Learning, we utilize Storypark, an efficient app-based software, to foster transparent communication between families and staff. This platform enables seamless delivery of important dates and information to parents. XAP provides an online portfolio that documents each child’s learning outcomes, including photos, videos, creative artwork, educator observations, and peer interactions. Through XAP, we ensure that parents stay well-informed about their child’s progress and experiences, enhancing the sense of collaboration and involvement in their learning journey.
Enrichment
At Treetop Early Learning, we take great joy in offering a variety of exciting auxiliary programs at each of our centres, designed to nurture and stimulate every child’s inquisitiveness and creativity. From sports to cooking, language classes, gardening, art sessions, and creative movement, our dedicated staff consistently plan engaging activities that captivate the children’s natural curiosity. We strongly believe in the principles of the Reggio Emilia philosophy, empowering children as active participants in their own learning journey while fostering connections with their families and the broader community. It’s all about creating a vibrant and enriching environment where each child can flourish and explore their passions!
